Datatables on linux server (dblib/Sqlsrv)

Hello,
There is any option to use datatables (php) on linux server? (not windows with LAMP)
The sqlsrv pdo driver is for Windows server only and the dblib driver on linux not work with datatables to do 'driver not exists'

I saw already question about this on this forum but none of them respond clearly,
I'd be happy if someone could explain this issue clearly.
Thanks.

    php runs on linux.

With regard to dblib, a quick forum search finds an answer in this thread:

    tangerine thanks for the reply,

Sure php runs on linux, I'm talking about datatables,
'datatables' used library for specific drivers (Mysql/Oracle/Postgres/Sqlite/Sqlserver) and if I try to made custom connection with dblib I get 'missing driver' error (fatal error, not just warning),
The question is, if there is official way to make this connection successfully.
