upgrade from 1.7.4 to 1.7.5 + TableTools

I am trying to use TableTools and was using DataTables v. 1.7.4 The first problem is, when I add the TableTools js file, I get an alert that I need to use DataTables 1.7 in order to use TableTools 2. This is misleading, because DataTables 1.7.4 IS part of release 1.7, so if TableTools needs 1.7.5 (which seems to be the case, because I do not get that alert when I use this new version), the alert should say so instead of just saying 1.7.
Secondly, please excuse me if I simply missed it, but I cannot find anywhere in the documentation that says the parameter "sNames" is no longer used for v. 1.7.5. When I upgrade from 1.7.4 to 1.7.5, the post request no longer sends in the sNames parameter. Am I missing something?
