I am experimenting with DataTables and TableTools for a new site.
The site will be used by commercial customers but there will be visibility as a demo for prospective customers.
I want to leave the export buttons visible but inactive to a demo user.
I am working in Symfony with sfGuard so it easy to wrap part of a script in PHP IF but is there something I could put into the script that will simply stop it working without crashing everything. Better still would be a message flash to confirm that the function was disabled ;=)
