Responsive Breaks X-Editable Bindings

Hello - I'm attempting to use X-Editable on a column, and when Responsive "hides" that column, it loses the binding for X-Editable. Please see the (contrived) demo below:

Note that before the Responsive controls kick in, the X-Editable is active (the dotted line underneath the hyperlink), but when the column containing the X-Editable links are hidden by Responsive, the underline turns solid.

Any advice on how to retain the binding when Responsive is triggered is greatly appreciated.
