Left align sort icon to text on column names

Hello! I've spent a good amount of time looking for a way to resolve this and I've attempted to use some of the fixes out there mentioned, but none of them seem to work.

Is there any way for me to left align the icons to the column names? I have a client that insists they are left aligned, but I can't seem to get it to actually do that.

This SO thread should do the trick - see here - it just needs some CSS tweaking.

Thanks @colin ! I'll try that method tonight and hopefully that solves my issue.

As an update for anyone else looking at this in the future, it seems like a consistent alignment to the direct right side of the column name isn't possible. Fortunately my client was happy with it being on the lefthand side which worked great.
