I mean a height between the lines equal to the excel worksheets: example 18 pixels.
At what point and in which css should I make the changes? Thank you

Thank you very much. I followed your directions, but the height between the lines "Row Height" remains unchanged even with your additional css. Unsure of my correct transcription, I have modified your online example "live.datatables" but nothing happens. I Skip a few steps? Thank you so much again for your patience.

It is setting the height of the rows - see this updated example for a more extreme example: http://live.datatables.net/puxepazo/4/edit .
It is not setting the height "between" rows. That is cell spacing.
