Datatable total records

I have responsive, Y-scroll datatable when I click on parent row I have to scroll to see the child row. this problem appears clearly if I have one row on table or filtered table with one row. so how I can use fnRecordsTotal to add class if total equal one or if there is another solution i missed ?
