fixedHeader.headerOffset

I would like to use fixedHeader on a page that has a large page header whose height can vary. Is there a way to retrieve the top screen position of a Datatable so that I can set the headerOffset to where Datatables starts? can I set it again somehow in drawCallback, e.g. when the user has rotated his display?
