Use of NOT in Search Builder

Use of NOT in Search Builder

This may be possible but I don't see it.
Is there any way to build a NOT (multiple conditions) or,
at the least, add a condition of "not contains"?

    Hi @charlesgodwin ,

Thanks for the suggestion. Contains is actually one of the few conditions that it is not possible to invert within SearchBuilder. We are going to add conditions for the following:

    • Not Contains
    • Not Starts With
    • Not Ends With

Once this is done, all of the different conditions in SearchBuilder will be able to be inverted. I've raised an issue internally for this (DD-2337 for my reference) and will report back here when there is an update.

As for inverting groups, this is not possible at the moment, and not something that we will be looking to add in the near future anyway, especially given you will be able to invert each condition once the above is implemented.

    Thanks,
    Sandy

Thanks. The three you listed would cover it off. I look forward to them being implemented.

    Hi @charlesgodwin ,

I've just made the changes to add those conditions into SearchBuilder. This will be available in the next SearchBuilder release which we hope will be in the next few weeks. Until then you can access the fix from the nightly builds.

    Thanks,
    Sandy
