Does legacyAjax === deprecated (eventually)?

Been fooling around with DataTables 1.10.10 and Editor 1.5.3 for a couple hours. Nice job. Particularly appreciate the option for updating only changed data.

Here's my question, thinking long(ish) term, is there any reason to upgrade to (or even start a new page using) the new 1.5 data format if there is no chance whatsoever that I'll want multi row edit capabilities? I'm using only inline editing. That is, going forward, might there be tweaks made to Editor which could be beneficial for the inline interface that will be added to the code supporting the new data format and not to the legacy format?

If I should bite the bullet now and upgrade, I will, but if there's no reason to, why bother?

Thanks.

    It will certainly be in all v1.x releases. I haven't decided about v2.x yet.

    I'm not planning any changes that won't be able to represented in both forms, but there is that possibility (albeit unlikely).
