Column Summation and Display in the Footer

I tried to use the following example but the sum result is NaN.
http://datatables.net/examples/advanced_init/footer_callback.html

I noted that this example is for html table (DataTables), mine is Editor (using MySQL).

I found the bug (in my case). I have some other characters that is not $, digit or comma in the cells. Thanks.
