export to PDF is normal when few rows are exported, but when you export many rows (900) export is successful but it takes too long. I don't know if this is normal because when you export the same amount of rows in excel this doesn't delay.
There any way to improve this?

There are a few other threads on this topic if you search the forum - for example.
Basically the library that is being used for the PDF generation gets really slow with large data sets. I'm sure they would welcome any performance improvements, and I'd welcome any suggestions for a faster library.

is there any update for export PDF?
I'm using the actual pdfmake library and it's really slow to generate even just 200 records :(
Development of Javascript PDF generators appears to have stalled somewhat recently. jsPDF isn't easy to use and pdfmake is having a hiatus. I've proposed a crowdfunded effort to start pdfmake development again in this thread. You might also take a look at this thread for pdfmake performance.
