columnDefs.sortable is not described on the options page

columnsDef.sortable is used in the Index Column example but not mentioned in the Options Reference.
I was initially confused b/c I thought it caused the index column to remain static. After reading the full example I realized there was some extra JS creating the effect.
It seems to be the same as columnsDef.orderable?
