how to change length menu to a text and then display the total row

This plug-in will use links rather than a
selectelement, which is what I presume you want.Allan
Sorry my bad Allan the question is not clear but what i want is that change the length menu to like this "Total no. of Students: 100". And that "100" is the total row of the table. I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance
