In an editor table where I am not having any edit,delete etc button, how can I eliminate the left area with that checkbox as I only want them to read and not to modify, thank u

I can see that I can take it out eliminating the select-checkbox below, however that then keeps empty space on the left, how can I reduce that empty space on the left?
