How to change the value of one field in the editor popup

Hello,

I would like to set the field "need to be refreshed" to true by default while editing, even if the value was false in the database. The user should be able to set the value to true of false nevertheless.

I tried to use the initedit event, but while I can access the data structure and modify items, the value seems not be be reflected in the editor.

Do I miss something (probably yes...).
