Editor license - clarification

Hi,

We want to use editable datatables in our application, allowing end users to upload data and edit inline if there are any validation issues with the uploaded data.

So please can you clarify the below before we go ahead buying a licensed version:

1) Are we allowed to use the editable datatables to let our end users to upload data and edit inline (not just internal users)?

2) Reg 3.1 e) of https://editor.datatables.net/license/ (to include the copyright notice of the Licensor on all entire and partial copies of the Software in any form;)

Can you confirm if this clause is referring to the copyright block to be included in the datatables.js/css files and not our website/application?

Thanks and Regards,
Senthil

    Hi Senthil ,

    1) Are we allowed to use the editable datatables to let our end users to upload data and edit inline (not just internal users)?

Yep, the license is for the developers, not the end-users of the application, so any number of end-users can use an application created by a single developer with a single developer license.

Can you confirm if this clause is referring to the copyright block to be included in the datatables.js/css files and not our website/application?

Yep, exactly that. Any Editor file needs its copyright message intact, it doesn't need to be elsewhere on your site.

    Hope that helps,

    Colin
